Nestling in the rural Essex countryside on a farm near Burnham on Crouch, the Mangapps Railway Museum is a privately owned working museum with locomotives, rolling stock, restored buildings and memorabilia gathered mostly from the UK but in some cases, further afield.
One of Mangapps most ambitious projects is about to come to fruition. In early 2007 the museum decided to try and obtain a Canadian rail vehicle to accommodate their growing collection of historic Canadian rail artefacts. Over 4 years later, Canadian Pacific Railway caboose, or Conductors Van No 434677 has landed at Liverpool and will arrive at Mangapps Tomorrow (13th July 2011).
